Paint with us at the NEW The Lucky Cat Comedy & Events (old Threw Brewing). Classes are limited in size, please make sure to buy your ticket to make sure you have a spot Payment is required in advanced $35 per person. All your supplies (canvas, paints, brushes and apron) are provided for you. No outside beverage is allowed, but outside food is. By the end of the night, you will be amazed at the artwork you have created on a 16x20 canvas!

CR Pride Vice President Susan Liddell and community member Scott Boots have organized a Pride Interfaith service.  

Allied and supportive spiritual leaders from the area have committed to creating a space of healing, affirmation and unconditional love. 

As the LGBTQ community, we know how deeply many of us have been hurt by the messages which we often heard from our religious organizations and continue to hear. This service is an opportunity to experience  acceptance as you are and who you are today. Join us! June 24. 2 pm. Cedar Rapids Public Library in Beams A&B.  

CR Pride is currently accepting art work for this years Pride Art Show.  The theme is “Our State of Being.”  Art work should focus around the theme of mental health. 

This show is open to all artists but priority will be given to LGBTQIA+ artists. Two exhibits will be available to view. The lower level will be reserved for youth artists under the age of 18 while the upstairs will be for artists 18+.

Load in will be June 24th and June 25th. 

CSPS will assist with hanging however artists are expected to hang their own art (nails or Command hooks preferred, anything needing more needs CSPS Approval). Artists may sell their art and will be required to handle sales of their own art.
