Who is Max Pike?
Max Killian Pike was a beloved teacher, mentor, and advocate who dedicated their life to creating safe and inclusive spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth. Through their work as an English teacher and GSA advisor, Max encouraged countless students to be their authentic selves and pursue their dreams without fear.
What is the Award?
First awarded in 2025, the Max Pike Community Award honors the spirit, compassion, and dedication of Max.
This award recognizes someone in our community who continues that legacy through empathy, advocacy, mentorship, education, community service, and simply working to make the world a more welcoming place for others.
