Our volunteers are what make everything we do possible! Whether you have a knack for fundraising or are a pro with spreadsheets - there is a way for everyone to get involved! To make our Pride festival the best yet, we need community support to make our events happen!
We'd like to extend a huge thank you to everyone in the community that dedicates their valuable time to helping us achieve our goals.
Below is the list of committees where community members can volunteer to help with the planning of the pride 2025:

Finance
If you are a numbers person or enjoy filing receipts and helping with tax preparation, then this is the committee for you!
Infrastructure
If you more of a “behind the scenes person” then this might be the perfect opportunity for you! This committee helps ensure that our website is up to date, our insurance is active and helps with other administrative tasks such as ensuring there's food at our board meetings.
Pride Festival
If you have a knack for event planning, then this committee is for you! Help organize all activities taking place at NewBo City Market on the day of the festival. Have a say in stage performances, kid zone and helping to have a safe event.
Vendors
Help ensure Pride Fest is a success by developing vendor information for our website, emails and pricing information. This committee is responsible for assigning all vendors to available space at the pride festival and work as a Pride Ambassador to ensure our vendors have a successful experience. Committee Members are responsible for assisting with vendor check in the day of the event and must be available starting at 9 am!

Join the team that is responsible for our entertainment at the festival and for all events throughout the year. Whether on the NewBo stage or at CSPS for our late show, or at a drag brunch, there are a lot of tasks that go into ensuring a fun day for all who attend.
Parade
This year’s poster parade was a big success and we are looking to carry that momentum into 2024. Help with all things parade - from coming up with the theme to ensuring we have all road blockades to developing the parade participant line up, we need you to make this a success!
